New Build

Print Email

This garden was designed to soften a new build house into its surroundings. To the side of the back garden the house was flanked on two  sides by neighbours and on the other by a field. The owners wanted to have a structured feel to the garden but also be able to screen other houses at the same time as keeping an open view across the field. They were keen not too limit the size of the lawn area and keep the paths that had been laid by the builders.

With a combination of formal planting and strategically placed trees and shrubs, the garden within a few months was well established. With careful planning and using soft tones in the planting, the overall effect combined well with the architecture of the property.
