Designing romantic gardens is my passion

About Claudia

I have always had a love of nature and being outdoors. Designing gardens has been a passion of mine and I love creating spaces for people to enjoy. Over the years, I have won many medals at prestigious RHS gardening shows and Gardeners World Live along with creating many traditional, romantic gardens and water features for numerous private clients.

When designing a garden, for me, it’s important to source the best plants from specialist nurseries and obtain hard landscaping materials and features that respect the surroundings and architecture, doing my upmost to use local suppliers. Using skilled artisan craftsmen and women wherever possible, helping to keep these trades alive, ensures the elements in the garden are brought together and resonate within their setting.

On my new shop page, you will find hand chosen, speciality products, many of which have been included in many medal winning designs and indeed my own garden.

Please take some time to look and feel free to contact me about any questions you may have relating to your garden or shop.

Claudia de Yong

I have a wide portfolio of designing beautiful gardens for a variety of different outdoor spaces, from small urban courtyards to larger country landscapes. I work personally on every project, responding to individual requirements, working closely with my clients to ensure their needs are met.

My services are flexible and include: garden design, garden consultancy, project management, plant and product sourcing, styling and planting schemes. I am sensitive to the architecture and style of the property and design the gardens to fit into the existing landscape. All materials, products and plants are sourced from specialist craftsmen and nurseries, local to the project whenever possible.
