ProjectsBeamed House

The garden of this lovely house, with its peaceful setting had been left untouched for years and with a hard-concrete strip wrapping its way around the property making for a very uninteresting, but blank canvas to work on.

The concrete strip was carefully removed from around the house and to the front elevation a large flower boarder was created, adding life, colour and framing the front door. The beds were edged with an attractive tile and planted with large Buxus balls and herbaceous plants.

To the side of the property a new seating area was created with classical clay pavers which carried through on to a meandering path area at the rear. Over the path a bespoke pergola was planted on each side with sweet smelling climbers and herbaceous plants, this added more interest to a rather dull back lawn and the outlook from the kitchen was enhanced making the whole area more inviting.
