I love working with, in and around water. The minute you introduce a water feature into a garden, whatever size, whatever style you are immediately creating other dimensions. Water gently flowing over rocks and stones creates a soft, calming sound or even helps in diffusing background noise. Reflections of trees, plants and even buildings will add depth to your garden and of course the introduction of water, will inevitably attract wildlife in many forms.

This natural pond has been designed to take full advantage of the beautiful landscape and distant views from this country garden. A rustic oak pontoon sits on one side, while on the opposite bank a pretty, meandering stream was created to provide gentle movement and oxygen for plants and fish. The area around the pond was sown with a perennial wildflower seed mix for bees and butterflies.
